We recognise that as long as businesses require goods to be delivered, there will be an impact on our planet and we take our responsibility for that very seriously.

This is why we have implemented a number of initiatives to reduce, not only our own carbon footprint, but to also help our clients to reduce theirs too.

Driving change

We have made limiting our environmental footprint a core element of our business model and already taken significant steps to reduce our impact. These include:

  • Creation of a fully digital booking and delivery management system - vastly increasing service levels and reducing paper usage
  • Investing in our first fully electric delivery vehicle with a view to increasing our EV fleet in time
  • Optimising each delivery journey to minimise mileage and time on the roads
  • Combining deliveries with collections wherever possible to make best use of two-way journeys
  • Committing to using FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council) accredited papers for all XTRA branded literature and stationery
